The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized statement, "A strange encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden group.
The mission focuses on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Bonus Material
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana together with numerous items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
