Mohamed Salah Offers Regret to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that Salah apologised to the group of players in the wake of the fallout from his recent interview.

He was omitted from a vital match following voicing frustrations and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”
The head coach has refused to reveal on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.
Team Unity
He emphasized that the team's response was unchanged. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” the midfielder explained.
Jones also suggested that a teammate fighting for a place is a positive trait. “I get that there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
Their results have been impressive in the matches since the interview fallout. He feels the forward's comments were not designed to cause disruption.
“If passion has boiled over, it has consistently come from a good place,” he finished. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and on a positive run.”
